My First Camera: Canon T3I

My First Camera: Canon T3I

Late 2014, my mom gave me a camera my dad didn't use very much. The camera was a Canon T3I with a basic 18-55mm zoom lens. I utilized photography as a distraction from my anxiety, as well as a way to improve my memory. My memory is odd. I tend to have great long-term memory, but my short-term is so trash. I can’t remember much unless something triggers my mind, then I remember everything. It’s weird, I know.

Last May, I upgraded to a Canon 5D MK III. I haven’t touched the T3I since. While rearranging my photography storage, I came across my first camera and felt nostalgic. I charged the battery and went downtown to shoot. Even though I don’t shoot with the T3I anymore, it's an amazing camera. I shot around dusk going into the night. TBH, outside of blogs, I haven’t been shooting anything actually. The inspiration simply isn’t there, but I’m slowly getting back to it. Here are some shots I took last night. Love.
