My favorite time of the year, March Madness. These next three weeks are better than the NBA’s 40 games in 40 nights. So many upsets. So many buzzer-beaters. So much madness. Here, I have my bracket. Before we begin know two things, know I am a diehard Duke Blue Devil and know Duke is the hottest, if not best team in the country right now. Coming off an ACC Championship, playing four games in four nights, and beating three top 25 teams in three nights, I can confidently support my claims.

about 4 months ago, i wrote a letter to my late friend, Vicky. allison commented that she bookmarked her blog and i thought to myself: "Vicky had a blog?!" i messaged allison and she kindly gave me the link. i spent a whole week going thru her blog every single night, hours at a time. Vicky wrote, and she wrote well. i love how effortlessly she documented her life without compromising her privacy.

Years ago, years and years ago, maybe more than a decade ago there was a small Asian supermarket, Grand Asia. My parents would shop there every other week or so for our grocery needs. Soon thereafter, business began booming and they moved next door to a retail space about quadruple that of their old one. I haven’t been there in years, but since my mom and I are visiting my brother, she wanted to cook a Cambodian soup, Katiew, so we headed to none other than Grand Asia.

Other Weekly RDL: Sorayama

This all started back in 7th grade. Christmas of 2005, my brother bought me the edited version of Tha Carter II by Lil’ Wayne. This was my second rap CD, my first being Welcome Back by Ma$e, and I fell in love with the album. At that time, Wayne and Game were my favorite rappers. One of the singles off Tha Carter II is Hustler Muzik, and in that video Wayne had one of the freshest fits in a rap music video ever. (I still stand by that opinion to this day.) Because of the underappreciated luxury that is the world wide web, I was able to search and find what brand hoodie he was wearing. The brand was Bape, which was founded by a Japanese man known as Nigo and it was very expensive. There was no way I could afford even a shirt, much less a hoodie!
