Thursday March 24th. It was around 6 pm. I was driving down Pavilion with Aaron to get dinner at Chipotle and then to run a few errands afterwards. There were two elderly women standing in front of a Citizen's Patrol car waving for drivers to turn around. In all my years here, I've never seen Pavilion shut down before.

Darius picked up on something fairly quick, within the first day or so, and comes up to me telling me how amazing it is that kids are kids regardless of where they are or where they come from. I was tired so I threw out the phrase "human nature" and kind of blew it off.

If you believe that everything happens for a reason, then life's timing can never be off. I think back on certain situations in life that have felt ill-suited for me intuitively. I've always said that the timing's wrong, and although at that point in life it may have been for a specific situation, overall, the timing was still right even when it was wrong. I'm just now learning that things that are meant to be and things that are meant to last can possibly be two separate entities.
