Sunday, February 17th 2019. Drove downtown. Tried to find parking. They were charging $40. Drove to the outskirts of city. Paid $6 to park. Began drizzling as soon as I got out the whip. Walked down North Tryon. Saw kid in D. Wade jersey ordering Halal food from food stand. Went to Owner’s HQ. Guy in vintage Nuggets jersey asked if camera was water proof. Told him it was weather proof. Walked in. Greeted by a dude working event. Told him he looked familiar. Turns out we used to work together at Urban Outfitter’s years ago. Exchanged IG usernames. Explored. Took photos at Snapchat station on top floor. Walked to Epicentre. Was told I couldn’t take photos of Spectrum Center. A few guys with stacks of money stopped me. Asked me to choose what cap a ball was under. If I was correct he’d give me $100. Told him I’m good. Said he has money like that because he doesn’t go out much. Told him the right one and to be easy. Walked back to whip. Two girls getting out of a Benz parked adjacent to me. Lady in car shouted to them that they looked good. Got in whip and responded to texts I missed.
